2024 Cookie Walk Families

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

 

ONLINE Tickets ONLY this year: $20 per ticket

(plus transaction fee).

 

Cookie Walk Proceeds will be split between the Storehouse for Jesus Food Pantry and the summer KIDS EAT FREE program at Pataskala United Methodist Church.

 

Families will select the GREEN ROUTE (West side of Main Street) or the RED ROUTE (East side of Main Street)

 

Please One Ticket per Family! This is intended to be an activity for the family to do together!

 

TOTE BAGS can be picked up on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5th or FRIDAY DECEMBER 6th FROM 6-8PM AT THE PATASKALA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH,

354 S. Main Street in Downtown Pataskala.

Or you can pick up your bag AT THE EVENT at the intersection of Main Street and Front Street starting at 2:30PM the day of the event. You must present the email confirmation from ticket purchase to get the bag.

 

Inside the tote bag will be a Cookie Walk Magazine, and Boarding Pass. Be sure not to lose them!

 

Parking in the Downtown Pataskala area is limited, and we are not responsible for where to park. Please be respectful of the residents in the area, and park legally!

 

The Cookie Walk hours are 3pm – 5:45pm, you can arrive whatever time you would like!

It takes at least an hour to go through the Cookie Walk so arrive no later than 4:45pm, and you can start wherever you want on the route.

 

There are tons of FREE ENTERTAINMENT AND CHARACTERS at the event. A few stops are open for BOTH the Green and Red Routes so everyone has access to the activities at those stops.

 

COME HUNGRY: there will be Food Trucks as well as downtown restaurant options to get some delicious food.

 

You must present your BOARDING PASS to each stop to collect a cookie. Please take your time and visit with each stop. There is no need to rush!  Keep your boarding pass as a memento!

While businesses are able to choose whether or not to offer restrooms, portable BATHROOMS will be available at the North and South ends of the Cookie Walk Route.

 

Please remember to STAY FOR THE PARADE which starts at 6pm. Santa will be in the gazebo after the parade for visits and pictures.

TICKET DISCLAIMER

Please read and understand the following before donating to our event.

We want to take this opportunity to clearly explain what your donation and acquisition of an official Cookie Walk bag entitles you to participate in and receive as part of the event. Please find the following items to be deemed the terms of participation in the 2024 Pataskala Lions Club’s Cookie Walk event:

  • Risk: Attendees assume all risk and danger at the event, including any personal loss, damage, or liability. Guests with food allergies are not guaranteed allergy specific cookie options, and participate at their own risk.

  • Tickets: Tickets are revocable licenses to attend the one day event on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 3pm – 6pm. The Lions Club of Pataskala Charitable Foundation and Lions Club of Pataskala is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets. A ticket entitles you to an Official Cookie Walk Tote Bag, Cookie Walk Magazine, Boarding Pass, Ornament, and the opportunity use these items to collect cookies in person at the event. We are not responsible for providing cookies for any Cookie Walk Stop that cancels participating in the event.

Failure to acquire the Official Cookie Walk Tote Bag prior to the completion of the event will be deemed by the Pataskala Lions Board as forfeiture of the ability to collect and/or receive cookies from the event’s Cookie Walk Stops. The Pataskala Lions Club will not be responsible for collection of any cookies for the donating party and the donation made is not obligated to be refunded. Ticketholders who fail to pick up their bag or attend the event can contact the event coordinator by emailing MainStChristmasPataskala@gmail.com within 30 days after the event to claim their Official Cookie Walk Tote Bag. If the Donating Party has not made arrangements to receive the Official Cookie Walk Tote Bag within that timeframe, the bag and its contents will be deemed forfeited.

  • Ticket Transfers: Tickets can be transferred by the owner forwarding their emailed ticket, or printing a copy for a new recipient. The Lions Club of Pataskala will scan tickets at bag pickup and each ticket can only be redeemed once. Tickets are not authorized for resale, and will not be sold through any third party.

  • Weather Policy: This community event will be held rain, snow, or shine. The Cookie Walk is an event that relies on the ability to coordinate road closures, detours, community entity participation, security, and many other items and as such, if the event is unable to occur (either in total or partially) for any reason, the donating party understands and accepts the cancelation without expectation of a rescheduled date or return of donation(s).
